Tour overview
The day begins with your agreed pickup in the Fethiye area and heads inland towards Tlos. The ancient settlement combines a hilltop acropolis, rock-cut tombs, a theatre and Roman remains. Walking here involves exposed paths and uneven ground, so wear supportive shoes and keep drinking water within reach. A hat is useful even if your main reason for joining is the cool canyon later in the day.
The route continues to Yaka village for lunch at a trout-farm restaurant. This gives the day a seated break between the archaeological stop and the gorge. Buffet lunch, a guide and local transfer are included in the quoted package; Tlos and Saklıkent entrance tickets are separate. At Saklıkent, decide how much walking suits you rather than treating the canyon as a distance challenge. Water stays cold even in summer, and the route underfoot can be slippery.
