- First establish whether the journey starts with a road transfer or a longer sea crossing. Compare the complete journey, including the change to the river boat.
- On the river, the Kaunos rock tombs form part of the landscape. A photo stop facing them does not include walking around the Kaunos archaeological site.
- Choose how to divide the remaining time between İztuzu, the river and optional stops. Ask for any mud-bath or rehabilitation-centre visit to be named separately.

Questions and answers
Will I definitely see turtles at İztuzu?
No. Wild turtles move freely and sightings cannot be guaranteed. Choose a trip for the river, beach and landscape; never ask for animals to be fed or handled for a photograph.
Does a Dalyan trip include entering Kaunos?
A view of the rock tombs is not the same as admission to the Kaunos archaeological site. Ask for an explicit site visit in the itinerary if that is a priority.
Are mud baths part of every trip?
No. Programmes differ. Confirm whether a mud-bath stop is planned, whether you can skip it and whether an additional entrance charge applies.
